The Pharmacy Technician, under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Manager or Registered Pharmacist, shall assist with routine pharmacy responsibilities. These include, preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, preparing reports, managing automated systems, and maintaining records. They work only under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. They do not perform duties that legally can only be performed by a registered pharmacist.

The compensation range for the role is $23.05- $ 29.55 hourly.
Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).
Minimum Education: High school Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of mathematical skills that include ability to perform complex weight and measure calculations as well as ability to perform percentages, division operations, and decimal point manipulation. General data entry skills as well as excellent written and verbal skills are a must.
Required Certification/Registration: PTCB Certification and registered.
