Cardiovascular Technologist

Responsibilities

 Functions as a member of the Cath Lab Team in areas related to Cardiac Catheterization procedures.  Provides care to a specific group of adult and geriatric patients consistent with the goals, philosophy and policies and procedures of the department and hospital.  Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served.

Compensation for the role is $53.45-$60.35 hourly. 

 

Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.  The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.  When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Graduate of a JCERT Accredited Radiology Program or A.A.S. Cardiovascular/ Cardiovascular technology (CVT) degree                                                                                              

Minimum Experience:     One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology Technician.                    

 

Required Certification/Registration: New York State License required, and registry A.R.R.T. desirable.  R.T.C.V. preferred. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred. Current and ongoing BLS certification required until ACLS certification obtained within 3 months of hire. BLS renewal not required once ACLS is obtained.
